What we store
- Account: name (optional), email address, hashed password, plan.
- Learning data: which lessons you completed, exam results, certificate code and date.
- Technical: server log files (IP address, time, page) for operating security. A cookie remembers your session and your chosen language.
Why
To provide the courses, remember your progress across devices and issue certificates. No advertising, no third-party tracking, no sale of data.
Processors
Our hosting provider (data centre in Germany, EU) and, for subscriptions bought in the app, Apple as the payment processor.
The labs
Lab exercises run in your browser or the app. When you press “Check”, the text or numbers you entered for that exercise are sent to our server, graded and not stored — only the fact that the lesson is completed is saved to your account. A draft of your answer is kept locally on your device until you reset it.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion and data export under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR. You can delete your account yourself under “Account”; progress and certificates are removed with it. Write to info@furyhack.com for anything else.
Security
Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS) and passwords are stored only as hashes.
